STUDENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

Meet Sam Cooper, Founder of the Cambodian Kids Foundation. Sam’s passion and enthusiasm as a student is where this whole journey began… We are now looking for student ambassadors to help us continue the important work this foundation does. Press play for a brief glimpse into how and why the foundation began. (filmed in 2012)

WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?

The Student Ambassador Program has been developed to encourage students to get involved in helping children less fortunate than themselves in a third-world country.

It is about students learning, growing, raising awareness and finding creative ways to support a cause within thier school and community.

We want to inspire the generation of tomorrow to feel the true rewards of giving and making a REAL difference in our world.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING A STUDENT AMBASSADOR?

Becoming a student ambassador for the Cambodian Kids Foundation (CKF) is such an amazing opportunity for students to learn about another culture, to grow as a person and help create some much needed awareness around the poverty that still haunts this nation.

Being an ambassador also provides students an opportunity to fulfill community service contributions and become caring and globally-minded citizens.

Some of the benefits of becoming a student ambassador include

  • Making a real difference to children in a third-world country
  • Expanding their knowledge around Cambodia and it’s history
  • Developing organisational skills through organizing events and fundraisers
  • Developing leadership skills
  • Ability to gain local and community recognition for their efforts through local and school media

CKF will offer recognition and celebration of the efforts of our student ambassadors through various awards.

Our most committed student ambassadors will also be considered for our Ambassador of the year awards at the end of year.

WHAT ARE THE STUDENT ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES?

The student will be resposible for learning a little more about the amazing work the Cambodian Kids Foundation are doing, and why we need the help of the local community.

It will be the student’s responsibility to help us increase awareness around our cause and help us raise much needed funds through organizing fundraising campaigns and/or events.

The student will create themselves a fundraiser through our charity portal where they can share the campaign and encourage family, friends and the community to contribute to their campaign.

There is then the option of further helping by creating fundraisers through their school, again to help create awareness for our cause and generate some much needed donations to the charity.

The student will be responsible for depositing any donations rasied into the Cambodian Kids Foundation bank account.

HOW WILL CKF HELP?

The Cambodian Kids Foundation will help by providing as much support as we can to the student ambassador.

They will be able to contact our administration team to discuss fundraising ideas and opportunities.

CKF send a welcome pack to students upon agreeing to become a student ambassador to help them get their journey started. We’ll provide a fundraising page for tracking donations and we’ll also include a letter of support which can be provided to businesses the student may be approaching for donations and support.
